The SMSTS is designed for site mangers, site agents, and persons who are, or aspire to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling, and administering groups of staff and a workforce. in the construction industry who either hold, or aspire to hold, a management position.

The course is appropriate for project managers, site managers and site supervisors.

The course takes place over 5 full days split across two weeks (Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Week 2 – Tuesday & Wednesday)

The cost of the CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification is £450 + VAT.
