Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading
Is this qualification for me?
The Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading qualification aims to give an introduction to the roles and functions of a team leader and explores issues such as accountability, authority limitations, motivating teams and planning and monitoring their work.
What does the qualification cover?
Topics include five mandatory units:
- Manage personal performance and development
- Communicate work-related information
- Lead and manage a team
- Principles of team leading
- Understand business
There are also twenty three optional units, of which learners must make up a minimum amount of credits. These are discussed on an individual basis with learners.
How long will it take me?
The qualification is designed to consist of both face to face days and work based learning. The length of the course can be determined by the learner.

It is expected that learners have a minimum understanding of Level 1 in Literacy and Numeracy.
