The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely (LaTS) course is designed for supervisors, team leaders and managers working within the engineering construction and industrial sectors. It builds on the knowledge gained through the CCNSG Safety Passport and focuses on the leadership skills required to manage teams safely and effectively in higher-risk working environments.

The course provides delegates with a practical understanding of health and safety leadership, communication, planning and supervision. It helps those responsible for others develop the confidence and knowledge needed to promote safe working practices and improve safety performance on site.

CCNSG Leading a Team Safely is widely recognised throughout the engineering construction industry and is often required for supervisory roles on industrial sites, power stations, refineries, manufacturing facilities and major construction projects.

How will I be assessed?

To achieve the CCNSG Leading a Team Safely qualification, delegates must successfully complete a multiple-choice assessment at the end of the course.

Are there any entry requirements?

Delegates must hold a valid CCNSG National Safety Passport before attending the CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course.

It is expected that learners have a minimum understanding of Level 1 in Literacy.

How much will it cost me?

The cost of the qualification is £150 + VAT.

Successful candidates will receive an ECITB CCNSG Leading a Team Safely card. This qualification must be held alongside a valid CCNSG Safety Passport.

In scope firms who pay into the ECITB Training Levy, may qualify for grants to cover the cost of the qualification for employees.
